Jeff Foster grew up in Minnesota in the 1960’s and 70’s reading
and writing short stories at an early age. He is a longtime fan of thrillers and adventure novels, by writers such as Ken
Follet, Alistair MacLean, Wilbur Smith and Bernard Cornwell from whom he draws his inspiration. Jeff followed in the footsteps
of his father and grandfather in working for twenty plus years in the local OEM electronics industry. He learned the industry
and its processes first hand in his numerous business travels to the San Francisco Bay area and Silicon Valley.
He
has traveled extensively around the World and in particular the Caribbean, including trips to Belize, Columbia, Venezuela
and more islands than he can count. Jeff enhances his writing by drawing upon experiences from personal travels, his extensive
knowledge of the electronics and communicatons industries, current military technologies and world events.
Jeff is
a 1976 graduate of Edina East High School in Edina, Minnesota. He attended the University of Nevada- Las Vegas and the University
of Minnesota.
He currently lives in Chaska, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, with his wife Marie, daughter
Sarah and their two mini dachshunds Sophie & Polo.
